Hey, I’m Josh. I’m a Kingston-based photographer specializing in weddings, elopements, and those unposed, 'real life' family moments. I’ve been behind the lens since 2018, and I’ve learned one thing: weddings aren't just events.

They are a living highlight reel—a rare moment where your entire history and your future collide in one room. It’s one of the few times all your favorite people gather to drink, laugh, and get a little misty-eyed. For me, getting to step into that inner circle and document your story is a massive honour. I take immense pride in what I do because I believe these photos carry generational weight. I’m not just capturing a day; I’m capturing the start of your legacy.

CURIOSITY & WONDER THROUGH THE LENS...

THE WORLD IS FILLED WITH INTERESTING PEOPLE, UNIQUE PLACES, AND ENGROSSING STORIES.

I’ve always been a seeker. As a kid, you’d find me buried in National Geographic magazines, tracing finger-paths over atlases, and obsessing over history. That natural curiosity eventually led me to a degree in Geography and a suitcase that was rarely ever unpacked throughout my 20s and 30s.

Photography began as my excuse to engage with the world—a way to bottle up the feeling of a new city. But during a career shift, I found the "introvert courage" to stop looking at landscapes and start looking at people. I realized that while the world is vast, the human connection is what actually makes it spin.

When I discovered the world of modern wedding photography, everything clicked. I saw photos that broke all the "stiff" rules—images filled with raw emotion, vibrant light, and genuine fun. Now, I use that same travel-inspired lens to document your most unique moments, capturing a story that is entirely yours.

LIFE & LOVE

I share my story with my beautiful wife and two curious and crazy little kids. The best photos I have taken are of them or with them. The best moments of my life have been shared with them. My wife and I have set off on adventures together for over almost two decades, and now we have these two joining us. We lead by example and teach them to live in the moment; find wonder and adventure in their journies; and embrace the vibrance and energy in the people, places, and stories they encounters in the world.

And while my primary job is Dad when we travel I always bring a camera and do my best to capture our best moments so we can relive them for many years to come.

I'm also an avid hockey and soccer player, listening to an eclectic range of music, and continue to travel and explore as much as time and money permits.

My goal has always been to photograph people and weddings as long as people keep inviting me to do so. It's such a fulfilling job that keeps me mentally, physically, and creatively challenged. I always take my role in documenting your life very seriously, and I'm stoked that the photos I deliver will be shared with your family for generations.
